From Cambodia
The treasures shown here come from a program in Cambodia created to support people with physical disabilities through skills training, employment and rehabilitation. Designing, producing and selling silk fashions and home accessories provides the means to make a real financial contribution towards improving their family’s quality of life.
Another part of this program provides community-based outreach. The focus is on serving children with disabilities. They provide access to rehabilitation services, aids for daily living, and opportunities to participate in social activities while helping the children develop awareness of their capabilities.
These artisans have created modern designs with the traditional silk fabric of Southeast Asia to bring you unique pieces of the highest quality. By purchasing one of these pieces you will gain the dual joy of owning a truly special item while supporting kids in Cambodia where government services are nearly non-existant.
Only these few items remain, in limited quantities.
